General Fitness Programs in the Works...

Along with personally customized fitness plans, I'm currently in the process of designing a few general workout routines that can be catered to just about anyone. My goal is to make fitness training fun, challenging and rewarding. 

Heavy Bag Routine

 

The idea behind this one is to have timed rounds of choreographed punching (including basic boxing and kickboxing techniques) with intervals of rest and other cardio exercises between rounds. This routine will have multiple levels of intensity; if you're a beginner, we'll start at a low intensity, just enough to work up a sweat. As you progress, we'll step up the intensity. This is an excellent low impact, fat-burning, routine that will get the blood (and the sweat) flowing... And you may just learn a few self-defense techniques along the way.

Fit Runs

 

This routine will incorporate steady-paced running with workout stations along the route. Some of the stations will include push-ups, pull-ups, crunches, lunges and jumping jacks, to name a few.

All-Sport Routine

 

This program will incorporate specific elements of many different sports to create an excellent cardio/fat burning routine. Some of the sports I'm considering are basketball, football, soccer, vollyball, tennis, track and field, and boxing. If you have a favorite sport, let me know; I'll find a way to work it into your personal fitness routine.

Youth Fitness Camps
 
I've got a few ideas in mind for some youth fitness camps. My main goals with this series will be to educate our kids on healthy living and the importance of staying fit; all while making it exciting and fun. Learning these concepts early in life makes it so much easier for them to maintain a healthy lifestyle in the future. I've got some real out-of-the-box thinking going on for these camps. Stay tuned for the details.
